Medulloblastoma has brought so many of us from all around
the world together to form one big family. We fight
together as Team Briggs! We stand,
that with prayer and faith, Briggs will be out Hunting in no
time at all! Thank you for your continued support of the

Team Briggs
In the early hours of Tuesday, November 11th, 2008, we
brought Briggs to the Emergency Room at Primary Children's
Medical Center in Salt Lake City. For about 17 days, he had
thrown-up intermittently and complained of headaches. We saw
several doctors and had blood drawn for testing twice during
this two week period. Strep throat, acid-reflux, and
flu-like symptoms were all diagnosed during this time.
Upon arrival at PCMC, two Pediatricians examined Briggs thoroughly and immediately ordered a CT scan. Within several hours, we were in the Pediatric ICU getting ready for an MRI and a very complicated and difficult brain surgery to remove a truly massive tumor.
Our world stopped turning. We prayed as we've never prayed before. And thankfully, our family and friends gathered around us in numbers.
48 hours after surgery, Briggs still in critical condition here at the PICU. His progress is slow but steady. We look for small baby-steps forward from this point on.
We know that there is treatment yet to come and that the immediate future is dependent upon God and Briggs. Every moment is precious and every hour seems to bring another mixed report. We focus on the positive and lean upon each other, our family, and our friends.
Words cannot express our gratitude for the support we have been given. Our lives have forever been touched by the professional staff here at PCMC. From our team of Neuro-Surgeons, to the nurses at Briggs's bedside, we are truly in the best hands possible.
We need your continued prayers and love. We thank you for all that you have done for us thus far and will continue to lean upon all of you in the coming days.
